New Horizon Pediatrics, P.C.

Niloofar Arbabi, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Our Care Philosophy

Dr. Arbabi started New Horizon Pediatrics with a simple philosophy; to create the highest quality pediatric care with the latest in medical technology and yet retaining the hometown personal touch and child friendly environment. Kids will feel more like they are visiting a fun attraction than the typical sterile doctors' office.

Our practice is dedicated to providing quality pediatric care to our patients, including same-day sick visits and routine well-child visits. New Horizon Pediatrics offers a warm, state of the art, child friendly and intimate setting in which to care for your child. We believe it's important that a board certified Pediatrician-not a nurse practitioner or call center- is available at all times to see patients in the office or offer advice over the phone.

For You and Your Child We Offer:

  • Warm and Friendly Doctor and Staff
  • Same Day Sick Visits
  • Free New Parent Consultations
  • Kid friendly office to make your child's experience a good one
  • Separate Well & Sick Waiting Rooms for All Children
  • Late Tuesday & Thursday evening hours
  • Fully integrated electronic health records.

New Patients

If you're considering a change in your child's pediatrician, we encourage you to schedule a no charge or obligation "Meet the Doc" visit to meet Dr. Arbabi and her staff and see our office and bring your child to this visit-it's important that your child feels comfortable with his/her new pediatrician.

Expecting Parents

For expecting parents we encourage a pre-delivery office visit to interview our physician/staff. These visits are complementary and are a great opportunity to make sure you're making the right decision.

We welcome babies born at all area hospitals and birthing centers to our practice. You do not need to "register" with our office before your baby is born.

If your baby is born at Reston Hospital Center, Inova Fairfax Hospital or Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Dr. Arbabi will examine your baby and visit you each day in the hospital, answering any questions you may have and also discussing your newborn’s care.

If your baby is born at other hospitals, their staff pediatricians will care for you and your newborn during your stay in the hospital. Please contact our office while you are still in the hospital, during business hours, and schedule your newborn’s first visit. We prefer to see them 1-2 days after you are discharged to check on their weight and any possible issues, such as jaundice.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Ruchi Agarwal has joined our practice. Dr. Agarwal is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Agarwal is a native of Northern Virginia and is excited to return to her hometown after completing her medical education.
